What a wonderful, successful day for our Helping Hands Recovery Festival! Yes, it was a little hot, but it was so worth it!

"I'll never be able to do this" closes a door. "I just haven't figured this out yet" leaves it open.

That single shift, from fixed to still growing, is the difference between a child who gives up and one who keeps trying. And it starts with the adults in their lives modeling what that language actually sounds like in practice.

Introducing The Forgotten Initiative — our Substitute Caregiver Support Group for kinship, foster, and relative caregivers in Carroll County.

We know substitute caregivers are often "forgotten" in the system. You're managing trauma behaviors, DCS visits, court dates, and your own family's needs — all while supporting a child's path to reunification.

Join us for a safe, confidential space to:
→ Share struggles + celebrate wins
→ Learn trauma-informed strategies that actually work
→ Earn training hours/certificates toward requirements
→ Connect with others who get it

Beginning In October…

Bi-monthly meetings:
📅 2nd Thursday Evenings 6:00-7:30 PM | Childcare available
📅 2nd Saturday Mornings 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
Led by Certified Parenting Educator + B.S. Addictions Counseling + CAPRC II
