Carroll County is proud to recognize two local farms honored at the Indiana State Fair through the Hoosier Homestead Award Program, which celebrates farms kept in the same family for 100+ years.

The Johnson farm received the Centennial Award, and the Todd farm earned the Sesquicentennial Award — remarkable milestones that highlight generations of dedication, resilience, and service to Indiana agriculture.

Welcome, Clint to Leadership Carroll County!

🎉 Welcome Clint McLeland to the Leadership Carroll County Class of 2026–2027! 🎉

Clint has served with the Delphi Police Department for the past five years, where he is dedicated to protecting and serving the citizens of Delphi. His career goal is to help lead the continued growth and future of the department, with the aspiration of one day serving as Chief of Police.

Before joining law enforcement, Clint worked at Franciscan Health as a Security Officer and as a Nursing Assistant caring for orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative patients. He also proudly served eight years in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Hospital Corpsman.

Through Leadership Carroll County, Clint is excited to network and build relationships with current and future leaders from across the county. He and his wife, Taylor, are the proud parents of two young sons, Henry and Magnus.

Welcome, Clint! We're excited to have you as part of the LCC and look forward to seeing your leadership journey continue.

Congratulations to Indiana Packers Corporation on the grand opening of its new Freezer Distribution Center in Delphi!

The Carroll County Economic Development Corporation is grateful for IPC’s continued investment in Delphi and Carroll County. This significant expansion brings increased capacity, greater efficiency, and 30 new local jobs to our community.

A special thank you to Kendal Ross, CCEDC Board Member and President of the Carroll County Agriculture Association, who spoke at the ribbon cutting on behalf of both organizations and shared our appreciation for IPC’s continued commitment to Carroll County and our agricultural community.

As Carroll County’s largest employer, IPC is an important economic and agricultural partner. Thank you to IPC for your continued investment, partnership, and confidence in Carroll County.

Growing Together: Celebrating the Grand Opening of Our New Distribution Center.

We're celebrating a big milestone here in Delphi!

Indiana Packers Corporation officially opened our new Freezer Distribution Center this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at our headquarters — and it's a huge win for our team and our community.

Here's what it means:
✅ 96,761 square feet of new freezer space — more than doubling our warehouse capacity
✅ Frozen pallet storage capacity increased by more than 12x
✅ 30 new local jobs
✅ Faster, more efficient shipping to customers across the U.S. and in 20+ countries

"This new facility reinforces our long-term commitment to our team members, producers, customers, Carroll County, Delphi, and the northcentral Indiana community," said Eric Sheiss, President and COO.

As Carroll County's largest employer with about 2,000 team members right here in the county, we're grateful for the continued support from our community, local leaders, and partners — including Delphi Mayor Kamron Yates and the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation.

🎉 Groundbreaking Day in Flora!

Today, we were proud to join local, regional, and state leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of Carriage Estates, Phase III, a new 28-lot single-family residential subdivision in Flora!

Supported through Indiana’s READI program, Carriage Estates represents an exciting investment in housing, infrastructure, and the future growth of Flora and Carroll County.

This project is especially meaningful following the lifting of Flora’s sewer connection ban after more than 50 years—opening the door to new residential and commercial growth.
