EAA Chapter 635 We are a group of people who like all things aviation, We like flying, building, fixing, and talking airplanes.

We have a group of T-hangers at the Deland, FL airport, where we hold our Young Eagle Club youth RC plane build and our meeting room.

Join us as we build RC airplane kits and practice RC flying on our flight simulator!

For students entering middle school through high school, this hands-on program introduces aviation through RC aircraft construction in a fun and engaging environment.

Good morning, Chapter 635!

✈️ What a fantastic International Young Eagles Day! ✈️

Thank you to all of our volunteer pilots, chapter members, families, and supporters who helped make the event so memorable!

We were thrilled to fly 23 kids and share the excitement of aviation with the next generation of aviators. We loved seeing so many smiles throughout the day! Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our EAA Chapter 635 family and the support of our local aviation community.

We appreciate everyone who participated and look forward to seeing you at our next Young Eagles event. 🙌🏼

Good evening, everyone!

YE Club ✈️ We had a great time building balsa wood RC airplanes tonight. The youth made awesome progress, stayed super focused, hands-on learning at its best. Watching them build, learn, and explore aviation is always exciting.　

Our next YE Club is February 18th at 5:30 pm at the Chapter 635 hanger. We’d love to see you there!
