Steph’s rescue is absolutely fantastic and really struggling. She really stepped up to help upon Alanna’s passing, personally adopting several of Alanna’s fosters (including 2 extras that were accidentally sent on transport) if you can support them with a follow, share, or give some love, ect that would be so amazing.

I’ve spent most of my life helping animals, through single parenthood, financial struggles, chaos, loss, and plenty of times when I probably should have stepped back. Somehow, I’ve always found a way to keep going.

But right now, Steph’s Pet Rescue is in danger of having to close its doors.

I’m dealing with major life changes while also carrying over $1,000 in veterinary debt, plus the constant cost of food, litter, hay, medications and supplies.

Some not so great news for Lucious. Unfortunately x rays showed some pretty advanced Osteodystophy. If you zoom in on his knees, you can see that the bones are jagged vs smooth and that is where the bone is wearing away. His intake exam was on May 20th with no obvious bone wearing or pain. Thats how fast Satin Syndrome can happen. He's not even 4 months yet. 🤬🤬😭😭

Miles can be an absolute challenge when it comes to taking his meds and letting me flush his abscess but he's also a sweet snuggle bug.

I need to run out today for the 🥬🥬🫑🫑and we need to cover Lucious' exam on Monday. Can we come up with 2 benjis by Monday afternoon?
