We invite you to join us for an informative meeting on Tuesday, June 9, when Julien Baruch from Krull-Smith Orchids will be our guest speaker to discuss bifoliate Cattleyas. Julien is an accredited judge for the American Orchid Society at the Florida-North Central Judging Center. He has grown orchids his whole life and became more serious about them in 2014 after joining the Sarasota Orchid Society. He interned at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens for The Million Orchid Project before moving to Apopka to work at Krull-Smith where he manages sales, the website, and social media and works with Frank Smith on the nursery's hybridizing. What a perfect place to perfect his knowledge and love of orchids! Julien will have plants for sale and for the raffle table.
