There is a person.

A person with pressure.
A person with emotions.
A person with relationships.
A person who needs rest.
A person who needs joy.
A person who needs people in their corner.
A person becoming who they are beyond the game.

Supporting athletes means developing and caring for the person beyond the game because athletes need a team off the field just as much as they need one on it.
