Another hugely successful was run on Saturday, May 30th. We had over 20+ departments run with showing up with 90 runners. BSO SWAT had the largest SWAT team closely followed by FT Lauderdale SWAT, Hollywood SWAT and Miami SWAT. Davie PD was high in numbers as well. Delray Beach Fire ran in full turnouts and it was incredible to watch.

Top First Responder: Deerfield Beach Ocean Rescue came and took it on Pompano Beach

Top Essential Business: Moraca Builders stormed again

Thank you to who sent out their helo and boat for the start and Fire for sending out their ladder truck with the flag. And all the departments who sent out their vehicles.

And to the for hosting this event and doing such a great job!

We are truly grateful to all of you who come out every year to remember Ryan, his service, and his badass legacy. He will never be forgotten.

Reminder: race location has changed. Saturday, May 30th, 8 am, Pompano Beach. Registration and packet pickup will begin at 6 am at the Ocean Rescue building on Pompano Beach Blvd. We will be on the grass on the south side of the building. You can park in the parking lots directly across the street or the parking garage just north of the area.

All departments bringing vehicles: same goes for timing. We need all trucks in place by 6:30 am so we can close the barricades.

The race start/finish and stage will be between lifeguard towers 3 & 4. You can access that area directly from race check-in.

Packet picked-up is also tonight at 5 pm at Island Water Sports in Deerfield Beach, rain or shine.

See you all Saturday!

On this day it seems fitting to give a huge thank you again to and their sponsorship of the 9th Annual . There’s so much that can be said about but they are a badass company, SEALs, NAVY, Veterans, friends, and just a great partner for and Naked Warrior Project. We have so many teammates in common that we have lost and truly appreciate their continued support of those as well as Ryan. Thank you Blue Tide, Bob and Mike, and your entire company for your support of our mission and ensuring Ryan’s legacy. , , ,

Remembering all those we’ve lost defending our great nation.

Our family lost Ryan Owens on January 29, 2017 and we’ll never forget.

We’ll never forget Ryan and the heroes like him who gave their lives for our freedoms and we’ll never forget that freedom isn’t free.
