Fostering Hope: The Pesek Family Project

It is official, the exterior of the Pesek Project is complete! Last Friday, the weather cooperated and the final round of siding was able to go up. This project has brought together over 100 years of experience and history to work side by side again in a community build that brings much needed space for a family in our community. This family has grown since this project's inception and the builders have since had the opportunity to meet the newest family member. The family remains grateful for the work of the community and would love to recognize Mike, Jack, Peter, Nick, Gary, Dave and Nancy who were typical faces seen during construction. Soon we will post photos of a completed interior. Thank you again for your continued support of this family. Because of ongoing support, another child has a safe space to come home to.

Kids are in the rooms! Moving kids out of the family room has meant the ability to regain that space for everyone to use. As luck would have it literally the day we move the kids in, our brand new roof failed us and we had significant water damage (it is a less than a year old roof). We contacted the roofing company and they were wonderful.
Thank you doesn’t begin to describe how grateful I am to spend this special Christmas in this room. Sibling Christmas is our favorite holiday tradition, a secret Santa, tree trimming, homemade hot coco and a Christmas cartoon. And we were blessed to have everyone tucked into their rooms so we could share this space. Thank you all! We have so much love for all the people and programs that made this possible

We are nearing completion. The final push of this will see expansion of our septic system and lots of painting. In the coming weeks we will need help to pull this off. We could not thank the community more for this project that has consumed so many of your time for months. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
