Last night the Juniorette G.E.M.S (Girls Embracing Missions of Service, sponsored by the Decatur Woman’s Progressive Club) had their May Recognition Meeting. Lots of food and fun installing new officers, recognizing our Senior Lily Miles, and giving out awards.
What a great group of young ladies!

Decatur Woman’s Progressive Club met our May meeting at CVBC fellowship hall on May 5th. Club members brought microwave popcorn bags to be distributed to local teachers in appreciation for their dedication to students and the impact they have on their lives. New club officers were inducted and club members were awarded for years of service. The club meeting was catered by John and Bonnie Walker who provided a very delicious salad supper. Our meeting was closed with the club collect.

An exciting weekend for Decatur Woman’s Progressive Club at State Convention!
Our very own, Valorie Westbrook was named MFWC (Mississippi Federation ofWomen’s Clubs) Club Woman of the year.🎉. Our club tied with GFWC-Mississippi Federation of Women's Clubs Fine Arts Club of Bruce for 1st place for MS Federation of Woman’s Clubs for the Club of the Year. 🎉

Decatur Woman’s Progressive Club members assisted local author, Jon Marie Tune, for her book signing on Sunday afternoon at the Newton County Career Technical Center. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments!!
