Pack 46 had a great time at Cub Adventure Day! From the fun and laughter to making new friends and creating memories, it was a day full of adventure! 💙💛

We’re so proud of our Cub Scouts for getting out there, trying new things, and making the most of every moment! ⭐️

As you're arriving at school this week, keep your eyes peeled! You'll spot Mr. Rick Berryhill out front with his Cub Scout campsite set up!

Be sure to give him a big GOOD MORNING! 👋 when you see him—and don’t be shy about waving! 😄
But that’s not all…later this week, Mr. Rick and Mrs. Paula will be coming to visit and tell you ALL about the fun, adventure, friendships, and awesome experiences that come with being a Cub Scout! Parents, keep an eye out for informational flyers that will come home with them!

Just some reminders::

Pack 46 will be camping out this Friday August 28 at Camp Binachi. Come out for family camping, dinner & dessert, a grab-and-go breakfast, and then stick around Saturday August 29 for an awesome Cub Adventure Day!!

📍 Camp Binachi — Meridian, MS
📅 August 28–29

✨ $7 per person for Friday night’s family campout (please let us know by August 26 if you're interested in camping!!)
✨ Saturday Adventure Day is FREE!
✨ Both are open to EVERYONE!!! Those currently in Cub Scouts and those that are interested in Cub Scouts are welcome!!!!

The Cub Adventure Day will be packed with canoeing, archery, fishing, BBs, a waterslide & MORE!!!! Come out and see what Cub Scouts is all about!!! We look forward to seeing you there!!!!

🍕🍦 What a wonderful way to wrap up an incredible Scouting year! 🍦🍕

Tonight, Pack 46 celebrated our Scouts with a Pizza & Ice Cream Social for our Blue & Gold Awards ceremony. It was a fun evening as we recognized our scouts for all the hard work our they have put in throughout the year.

From earning adventures and learning new skills to serving others and making lasting friendships, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and the growth they’ve shown along the way.

A huge thank you goes out to our families, volunteers, and leaders who help make Pack 46 such a special place. Congratulations to all of our Scouts on a fantastic year! We can’t wait to see what adventures await us next year.

Last night’s pack meeting was such an unforgettable experience for Pack 46! 🚒🔥

A HUGE thank you to Chief John Everett and the Decatur Fire Department for welcoming our scouts to the station and giving them such a fun and hands-on learning experience. The kids learned all about fire safety, how to prevent fires, and what it really means to serve the community.

Getting to spray the hose was definitely a highlight—but turning on the lights and sirens? That took the excitement to a whole new level! 🚨

We are so grateful for your time, your patience, and for everything you do to keep our community safe. You made a lasting impression on our scouts today!

🦁🐯 Lions & Tigers on the Hunt! 🐯🦁

Our Lion and Tiger scouts had an egg-cellent adventure at their meeting this week—dyeing and hunting eggs, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement! 🐣✨

But it wasn’t just about finding eggs… it was about living out the Scout Oath and Law every step of the way. From being helpful and kind as they shared their finds, to staying cheerful and brave in the hunt, these young scouts showed what it truly means to do their best. 💛

They worked together, encouraged one another, and made sure no one was left out—because a true scout is always friendly, courteous, and trustworthy.

🚀🐺 Blast Off with Our Wolves & Webelos! 🐺🚀

Our Wolves and Webelos took their meeting to new heights—literally! With teamwork, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement, they built their own rockets… then launched them sky-high! 💥

We’re so proud of their curiosity, problem-solving, and can-do spirit. The sky wasn’t the limit… it was just the beginning! 🌤️
