🍕🍦 What a wonderful way to wrap up an incredible Scouting year! 🍦🍕

Tonight, Pack 46 celebrated our Scouts with a Pizza & Ice Cream Social for our Blue & Gold Awards ceremony. It was a fun evening as we recognized our scouts for all the hard work our they have put in throughout the year.

From earning adventures and learning new skills to serving others and making lasting friendships, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and the growth they’ve shown along the way.

A huge thank you goes out to our families, volunteers, and leaders who help make Pack 46 such a special place. Congratulations to all of our Scouts on a fantastic year! We can’t wait to see what adventures await us next year.

Last night’s pack meeting was such an unforgettable experience for Pack 46! 🚒🔥

A HUGE thank you to Chief John Everett and the Decatur Fire Department for welcoming our scouts to the station and giving them such a fun and hands-on learning experience. The kids learned all about fire safety, how to prevent fires, and what it really means to serve the community.

Getting to spray the hose was definitely a highlight—but turning on the lights and sirens? That took the excitement to a whole new level! 🚨

We are so grateful for your time, your patience, and for everything you do to keep our community safe. You made a lasting impression on our scouts today!

🦁🐯 Lions & Tigers on the Hunt! 🐯🦁

Our Lion and Tiger scouts had an egg-cellent adventure at their meeting this week—dyeing and hunting eggs, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement! 🐣✨

But it wasn’t just about finding eggs… it was about living out the Scout Oath and Law every step of the way. From being helpful and kind as they shared their finds, to staying cheerful and brave in the hunt, these young scouts showed what it truly means to do their best. 💛

They worked together, encouraged one another, and made sure no one was left out—because a true scout is always friendly, courteous, and trustworthy.

🚀🐺 Blast Off with Our Wolves & Webelos! 🐺🚀

Our Wolves and Webelos took their meeting to new heights—literally! With teamwork, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement, they built their own rockets… then launched them sky-high! 💥

We’re so proud of their curiosity, problem-solving, and can-do spirit. The sky wasn’t the limit… it was just the beginning! 🌤️

Pack 46’s Webelos Den turned service into a celebration! 🎉
Tonight our Webelos hosted their community service project — Happy Birthday Bags — and invited all the dens to jump in. Scouts decorated birthday bags and filled them with cake mix, frosting, and candles and donated them to the Decatur Methodist Church food pantry.

Because everyone pitched in, we were able to donate 35 birthday bags! 🥳

We’re so proud of all the Scouts for remembering that community service can be joyful, creative, and full of heart. Way to spread a little extra sweetness, Pack 46! 💙🎂🕯️

🏁💨 Pack 46 Pinewood Derby Night = SUCCESS! 💨🏁

From creative paint jobs and lightning-fast wheels to the cheers from the stands, our Pinewood Derby was one for the books! The scouts showed up with incredible designs, big smiles, and just the right amount of friendly competition. We loved watching each car zoom down the track — whether they were built for speed, style, or pure scout spirit.

Huge shoutout to our scouts for their hard work, our families for the support, and all the leaders and volunteers who made the night run smoothly. Nights like this are what Pack 46 is all about: learning, teamwork, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.

Pack 46 had a full and meaningful day yesterday, and our hearts are full because of it. 💙💛 After participating in Wreaths Across America, teaching our Cub Scouts the importance of service, remembrance, and gratitude; we came together again to celebrate our annual Blue and Gold Ceremony. A special tradition that marks the anniversary of Cub Scouting and recognizes the growth, achievements, and hard work of our scouts. Cub Scouts isn’t just about earning badges—it’s about building character, learning teamwork, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to Mr. Rick for taking the time to cook up delicious spaghetti and sides, and to Mrs. Brittany for the adorable cupcakes that made the night even sweeter.

Most importantly, thank you to our amazing parents for bringing your kids out and trusting us to be part of their journey. Your support makes everything we do possible. We truly couldn’t do this without you, and we’re so grateful to be part of their scouting experience!

Wreaths dressed in green and red carry deep meaning—each one a symbol of eternity, endurance, purity, and the great sacrifices made by our veterans. From the circular shape with no beginning or end, to the evergreen branches and the red bow honoring lives and blood given in service, every wreath tells a story of remembrance and gratitude.

What began in 1992 as a quiet tribute at Arlington National Cemetery has grown into Wreaths Across America, a nationwide movement rooted in a simple but powerful mission: Remember. Honor. Teach. Remember the fallen, honor those who serve and their families, and teach the next generation the value of freedom.

Today, millions of wreaths are placed across the U.S. and beyond because of millions of volunteers who refuse to forget. In 2024 alone, over 3 million wreaths were laid at nearly 5,000 locations, many placed by the hands of children learning the importance of service and sacrifice.

Thank you to the wonderful boys and girls of Pack 46, Troop 46B, and Troop 46G for honoring our nation’s heroes yesterday. 🇺🇸🌲
