Hi everyone my name is Mary Lee Gregory and today is the first day of the Miss Hospitality Social Media Challenge!

Today’s theme is “Get to Know Me” and I’m so excited to share a little more about myself with all of you! I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to serve as Newton County’s Miss Hospitality and please follow along while I not only share more about myself but the wonderful place I call home!

Miss Hospitality Orientation ✅

Yesterday was an absolute dream attending the Miss Hospitality Orientation and getting to meet the other amazing Miss Hospitality representatives from around the state! I am beyond grateful and excited for this opportunity and I can’t wait to hit the stage with 43 new friends this July!

I was so honored to attend the 3rd Annual Marquise “Doda” Poole Scholarship Gala! It was such a special night celebrating the life of Doda and the scholarship recipients! It such a beautiful reminder of the love, strength, and impact one life can have on an entire community. I am so grateful to have been a part of such a special night 💜

I had such a great time volunteering this morning at the Hattiesburg Half Marathon! It was an amazing experience meeting fellow Miss Hospitality representatives and lending a helping hand to such a wonderful event.

Meanwhile, our Little Miss Hospitality, Ruby, had an absolute blast at the Loose Caboose Festival in downtown Newton today! We love being part of events that bring our community together.

What an unforgettable night at East Central Community College’s Collegians concert, Magnolia Mayhem! The talent, energy, and passion on that stage made for such a fun and meaningful experience from beginning to end.

A special shoutout to the Thomas Hall Band from William Carey for an amazing opening performance. They truly set the tone for a fantastic evening!

I absolutely loved the tribute to Mississippi artists. From the legendary sounds of B.B. King to the pop hits of Britney Spears and the rock anthems of Three Doors Down, every moment celebrated the incredible musical legacy of our state.

So grateful to have been part of such a special night, events like this remind me just how rich and inspiring Mississippi’s culture truly is!

I had such an amazing time at the opening night of We Will Rock You performed by the Newton Theatre Company! The energy, talent, and music made for such a fun and unforgettable evening. I loved every minute of it!
