Today, Wings Across America stops in Casper!

As Fabio meets with local pilots here, he's sharing everything that's gone into making Raquel's Wings a successful and safe way to get patients to treatment. Hotel accommodations for pilots. Backup plans with commercial airlines. Ground transportation coordination. Weather protocols. It all matters.

To bring Raquel's Wings to a new community, we need to create the infrastructure that keeps patients safe and supported every step of the way.

Hello from windy Casper, WY! Fabio spent the day at local airfields learning what it takes to fly patients safely in this climate. Wind speeds, runway conditions, seasonal challenges—every region is different. Meeting with pilots who understand their skies is how Raquel's Wings learns to serve new communities the right way.

Notes from the road!

You probably know a key part of our work is aviation — having planes and pilots to fly patients to their treatment. On this Wings Across America roadtrip, he's learning so much about what pilots in other climates like Montana and Wyoming have to do keep their planes in good working order.

So what does Fabio do when he arrives in a new community? Well, after drying off, he meets with the leaders of cancer organziations and he visits local airports to talk with pilots who may be interested in flying patients to care. The Raquel's Wings model can be taken and adapated in new communities so more people get to their treatment.

These visits are teaching Fabio that the need for this kind of ministry has never been more apparent! Thanks for supporting Raquel's Wings on this journey.
