Help shape the future of the Decatur Bike Club with a quick survey!

The club's Steering Committee is surveying past and current members to better understand where we are today and direct future efforts. Our goal is to strengthen club activities for members and to develop opportunities for community involvement.

*Bonus: Your responses to the 5-minute survey will be kept anonymous, but if you choose to provide your name (for contest purposes only), you will be entered to win a gift card to the Decatur Bicycle Shoppe. Note, board and committee members are not eligible to win.

Take the survey here by May 31:

Your input will help the DBC better understand where we are today, identify priorities, and make recommendations to strengthen our rides, community, and impact. Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. The results will be shared at the DBC Regular Meeting (open to all members) as....

Got a flat? Gears gone bad? We can fix that for you!

Bring your bike/s to the Fairview Park main pavilion from 8 to 10am on Saturday, June 13, for basic bicycle repairs free of charge at the Quick Fix Bike Clinic.

If we can’t fix it there, we can advise on what’s needed and where to go.

Hosted by the Decatur Bicycle Club.

Amen! Best access to Mt. Zion is open again !

Bridge is BACK OPEN! As of 9-12-24

UPDATE: Unfortunately the new estimated completion date is September 20, 2024.

There were unforeseen obstacles underwater, which made the footings work more difficult than anticipated. This also delayed the ordering of beams, which are made custom to fit the footings. Beams should arrive Aug. 8 and then work may continue.

Apologies for the delay and inconvenience. We want to fix the bridge the right way!

⚠️ Reminder: Grove Road bridge closure begins tomorrow - Mar. 13 ⚠️

Please be aware that the Grove Road bridge over the Sand Creek Arm of Lake Decatur in South Shores area will be CLOSED beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Mar. 13, 2024 through Aug. 9, 2024. This is a several-month closure as our contractor replaces the bridge.

❌ The bridge will be impassable during this time. Please plan to use an alternate route, such as South Shores Dr. and Southland Rd.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we replace this bridge!

EDIT: Southland Road as alternate route, not Drive.
