FOP Dayton Lodge 44

FOP Dayton Lodge 44 Representing over 750 active and retired members from the Dayton Police Department. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Dayton FOP Captain John C.

Post Lodge #44, is the local lodge representing approximately 365 active law enforcement officers working for city of Dayton, Ohio Police Department. The Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 377,000 members. At the national, state and local levels, we are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving

our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today’s police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.

Police Week was this past week in our nation’s capital. The men and women who have dedicated their lives to public safety and made the ultimate sacrifice were honored, and their names etched for eternity.

Locally, the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial was held honoring the local heroes from across our county.

We also celebrated the years of hard work put in by members of the Montgomery County law-enforcement Memorial team, and successfully dedicated our local memorial site.
