These amazing women are our Certified Peer Support Specialists at New Roots McIntosh — and they’re here for YOU.
So… what exactly is a Peer Support Specialist? 🤔
Someone with lived experience in recovery who has completed specialized training and certification to walk alongside others with compassion, encouragement, and practical support. They’ve been there. They get it. And sometimes, talking with someone who truly understands can make all the difference.
New Roots McIntosh is a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) — which means we are not treatment, detox, or counseling. We’re something different… and incredibly important: connection, support, hope, and community.
You can stop by if you are:
✨ Just thinking about recovery
✨ Actively living your recovery journey
✨ Supporting a loved one navigating substance use or recovery
✨ Feeling overwhelmed and just need someone to talk to
✨ Looking for resources, encouragement, or next steps
No pressure. No judgment. No need to “have it all figured out.” Just come in.
💬 Individual check-ins available
Sometimes you don’t need a big program… you just need a conversation.
