This Saturday at PetSmart, from 11-3, I will have another precious foster there with Castaways Pet Rescue. Her name on record is Butterfly, but she goes by Bindi (Girl) and is an American Dingo mix. She is about a year old, but this is not her first rodeo. She was rescued from Glynn Co AnimalServices, by Castaways, as a puppy, along with her mom and siblings. They were all scheduled to be euthanized, as they had the highly contagious ringworm. The time, money and effort went into their treatment, and all have been adopted, Except Bindi; I have no clue why, except that she appears to be shy and scared in the kennel. In reality, she has the heart of a lioness. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings, and swimming comes naturally to her. She loves to snuggle up under your chin and guard you through the night; you won't ever be lonely or unprotected with her around. She is very intelligent and is learning her commands. Please come see her Saturday and ask to go to the playroom with her. Takes a minute for her to warm to you, as she's had her little heart broken before; but it's well worth your time. We had another awesome adoption day at Hinesville PetSmart.

We adopted three dogs and two cats. Thank you so much to all the wonderful people who stopped to socialize our pets. Thanks also to the people who have previously adopted and always stop in and update us, we love it.

Thank you to all the wonderful families who opened their homes and their hearts to shelter babies.

Here is an update on Wally who was originally from Glynn County Animal Services and was pulled by Castaways Pet Rescue.

He is definitely living his best life. He gets to spend all morning with his dad at work at the office and with his mom all afternoon at home, she admits he is kind of spoiled. Additionally, he has 2 partners in crime he gets to play with every day.

God bless you guys for giving this baby a wonderful forever family. We love happy updates, that's what keeps us going in rescue.

This Saturday, one of my fosters will be at PetSmart in Hinesville, from 11-3. She was know as Philly, and I have been calling her Fancy ( Pants). She is approximately a year old and predominately German Shepherd. She is sweet, and at times shy. She has a great male shepherd voice and would love to have her very own person to watch over. Housebroken, and will keep up at your pace on a leash, and stop when you do. Knows to sit and stay and what no means. She would prefer to be the only dog at home. She plays well with other dogs, but in the home, is defensive of her people and things. Because she has never had her own, she wants to protect them. I know the right person is gonna read this, and say, I believe I'm that one that can give this sweetheart what she deserves. Thank you in advance for considering her.
