Our membership consists of gay men from all over the Greater Dallas region who consider themselves to be part of the Bear Community, their Admirers and Allies. We have a diverse membership from age to ethnicity and from those titles like bears, cubs, otters, admir

ers and others that are just our friends and want to join in on the fun and the service. We are a positive and diverse force in our community.

We had a wonderful time marching in Dallas Pride on Main Street yesterday! The energy was incredible, and the crowd was full of love; we couldn't help but be overcome with emotion. It's days like these that remind us why visibility and representation are so important. Remember to be proud of who you are, how far you’ve come, and the joy that you bring to others simply by existing. You are loved, you are important, and this world is a better place with YOU being in it 💜🏳️‍🌈

Turns out taking your clothes off for charity really does make a difference 🥰

As we continue tabulating how much money you all helped us raise for those in need at TBRU™30, we want to take a moment to give a HUGE thanks to our beautiful, kind underwear models for helping us raise a little extra money for our beneficiaries this year.

We appreciate every single one of you 💜🐻

Stay tuned! Saturday, June 27, 2026, around 6PM / CST, we will announce exactly how much money our non-profit will donate to our amazing beneficiaries: LGBTQ SAVES, ASD, AIN, and the Food Benevolence Fund, at the Cathedral of Hope. And we couldn’t do it with YOUR help.

And of course…we have to give a BEARY special thank you to our brave underwear models: Axel, Sam, and Connor! Thank you for helping us raise even more money for the Dallas Bears during this year’s Cake Walk!

These guys volunteered to strut their stuff, model the merch, and auction off the very underwear they wore during the event; all in the name of charity!

Thank you all for bringing the confidence, and a whole lot of fun to the evening 🍑

The cakes weren’t the only snacks at the event this year 👀

What a beautiful day to be a bear in Dallas 🥰

We want to give a beary special thank you to everyone who came out to support the Dallas Bears Annual Cake Walk today at the Hidden Door! Because of our incredible community, we were able to raise $3,265 for the Dallas Bears Charitable Fund, and we truly couldn’t have done it without all of you!

We also want to give a heartfelt thanks to:

-Justincase Moreballs for being our amazing emcee and keeping the energy going! Thanks for helping us move some cakes 😉 🍑

-Joel Leggit for providing the music coverage, and always being a reliable DJ for the community.

-Everyone who baked, donated, bought, carried, displayed, or walked away with cakes! Y’all absolutely showed up and we couldn’t have done it with you!

-And of course, our friends and family at The Hidden Door Dallas for always welcoming us into their space and always supporting our community so generously. Events like these wouldn’t be possible without having such an iconic cornerstone of Dallas Q***r culture to offer their support. Thank you all so much, we love you!

Events like this are a reminder of how special this community really is. Thank you for all for spending your evening with us, supporting the Bears, and helping us continue giving back.

The Dallas Bears are proud to recognize Jim Francis as our May 2026 Bear of the Month for his continued dedication to our community, and the incredible example he sets through his volunteer efforts with our community partners.

As a Charter Member of the Dallas Bears, Jim has helped shape the our organization from the very beginning. His willingness to still step up, give back, and represent the club with kindness, consistency, and pride never goes unnoticed.

Thank you, Jim, for everything you continue to do for our community and for representing the Dallas Bears so well. We’re grateful to share in this legacy with you. We love you! 💜
