Waxahachie Rebekah Lodge #381

In Friendship, Love and Truth The Lodge is like a great venue for a lot of positive energy and everyone works to contribute their share.

Our Rebekah Lodge is a place for fellowship in all its forms, from hanging out and just having fun, to discussion, to networking, to collaboration on creative and constructive projects, all with an eye not only on our own satisfaction but on what we might offer to the community at large. Evolving from the traditions of the guilds in the 1700's, the Odd Fellows is a worldwide benevolent and fraternal organization open for men and women.

🌿 Plant Bingo was a blooming success! 🪴

Last weekend, the Ellis County Woman’s Building was filled with plants, prizes, laughter and plenty of bingo fun!

Plant Bingo wasn’t just a fun morning and afternoon — funds raised from the event will support our local charity work and help us continue making a difference right here in our community. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and helped make the event possible. And a special shoutout to Lindsay & Gina and committee members for all the work that went into bringing it together!

We’re grateful for a community that shows up, has fun and gives back. 🌱

✨ Celebrating Our Lodge Leadership! ✨

A little belated, but no less worth celebrating! ❤️

We’re proud to recognize the officers leading our Lodge for the current term:

🌟 Noble Grand Kris Harper
🌟 Vice Grand Lindsay Thompson

We’re grateful for their willingness to serve, lead and carry forward the spirit of friendship, love and truth that brings our Rebekah Lodge together.

Here’s to a wonderful term filled with fellowship, service and plenty of fun along the way! 💕

🐾 Coin Drill for a Cause! 🐾

Sister Cathy had the privilege of delivering our Coin Drill donation to New Life Cat Rescue! ❤️😽

While she was there, she even got a behind-the-scenes visit with some of the sweet babies currently in their care. Lacey and the New Life team were so excited and grateful for the donation.

We’re proud to support the wonderful work they do for cats and kittens in our community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Coin Drill and helped make this gift possible! 🐱💕

Our Visiting Committee has been hard at work on a special project at Focus Care retirement home — creating a library for the residents! 📚❤️

Our Rebekah sisters spent time cleaning, organizing and getting a new shelf installed, and the library is really starting to come together.

The best part has been seeing the residents get excited about their new space! The Focus Care administration has also been so appreciative of the project and the care being put into creating something the residents can enjoy.

Projects like this are what Rebekah service is all about — seeing a need, showing up and working together to make a meaningful difference in our community. We hope this library brings many moments of joy, connection and a good story to the residents of Focus Care for years to come. ❤️📚
