Join Dr. Solis and Dr. Ash*tey for a refreshing walk on Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. at Tipton Park, 3600 Magdeline St.

Walk at your own pace and connect with neighbors while staying active and healthy.

This event takes place every third Saturday of the month — a great way to get outside and enjoy the season.

Join us for a Citizens Homelessness Commission Listening Session hosted by Council Member Laura Cadena and Commissioner Jasmin Flores.

We invite District 6 stakeholders, community members, and partners to share their experiences, challenges, needs, and ideas as we work toward stronger, more connected solutions for Dallas. Your voice matters

A community meeting will be held to provide feedback on a request for CR Community Retail District zoning on property currently zoned R-5(A) Single Family District, located on the west line of Chalk Hill Rd., south of Chippewa Dr.

The meeting will take place on May 12, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Voice of Hope Ministries, 4120 Gentry Dr, Dallas, TX 75212.

All community members are encouraged to attend and provide input.

West Dallas Pet Pawty 🦮🎈🐕‍🦺

Services • Wellness • Protection

Join Council Member Laura Cadena for a community event connecting 150–200+ pet owners and families with trusted resources and services.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center, located at 2828 Fish Trap Rd, Dallas, TX 75212.

Attendees will have access to pet health and wellness resources, preventive care and vaccinations, training support, pet products and services, and animal safety information.

Friendly, fully vaccinated pets are welcome on a leash or in a carrier.

Dallas Animal Services Community Meeting 👥️👤

Dallas Animal Services will host a community meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The meeting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center -WDMC , located at 2858 Fish Trap Rd.

Residents are invited to attend to share feedback and discuss community concerns. Topics will include pet owner responsibilities, available resident resources, and issues related to community and feral cats.
