Free Property Inheritance Workshops 🏠

Many families live in homes that were owned by a loved one who has passed away but have not yet transferred legal ownership. This situation, often referred to as heirs' property, can create challenges when it comes to preserving family homes, accessing resources, obtaining insurance, or making repairs. Our workshops are designed to help families better understand their options and connect them with legal resources.

These workshops are offered at no cost and are a collaborative effort between Builders of Hope, SMU Dedman School of Law Legal Clinics, and community partners. Participants will receive information about the heirs' property process and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from legal professionals.

We would be grateful if you could share the attached flyer with your clients, residents, staff, and community networks. Your support helps ensure that families who may need these services are aware of this valuable opportunity.
