Let’s Normalize the Conversation 🤎

Thank you to James Berglund from for supporting Texas Day of Empathy and leading an impactful conversation on sexual health education.

These conversations matter. Sexual health should be open, informed, and stigma-free, not something people feel uncomfortable talking about. When we normalize it, people are more likely to seek care, stay informed, and take control of their health.

We truly appreciated the knowledge shared and the space created for real dialogue.

And yes, the meal from was just as appreciated 👏🏾

Thank you again for your support and for helping move this work forward.

We showed up anyway. 🌧️✊🏾

Despite the rain, our community came together for Day of Empathy 2026 and made it powerful. The conversations were real, the connections were genuine, and the impact was felt.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, spoke, volunteered, and stood with us. This is what it looks like when we lead with empathy.

Empathy is not just something we talk about, it is something we live. It is how we listen, how we support, and how we continue showing up for one another.

Stay connected. Stay committed. We are just getting started.

Stay tuned. 🖤

He was 19.

One moment changed everything.
But it didn’t stop his growth.

Terry Pettis is doing the work.
He’s growing. He’s leading. He’s showing what change really looks like.

We stand behind him 1000 percent. ✊🏾

We advocate for individuals incarcerated as youth because we know outcomes can look different depending on how cases are handled. Terry earned the opportunity for a second chance, and we are fighting for that now.

Supporting the incarcerated means recognizing their humanity, their growth, and who they’ve become.

Stay tuned for upcoming letter writing sessions as we continue to push for Terry and others like him.

Second chances should exist.
