Applications for the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) Class of 2027 are now open!

Actually, strike that — The *pre-application* is now open. The full ALC application will open Monday, November 2.

For more than three decades, the ALC program has prepared hundreds of emerging DFW commercial real estate executives to lead their companies and serve the Dallas community.

Class members participate in an annual teambuilding retreat, nine monthly topical program days, guest lectures and additional networking opportunities, and a community investment project benefiting Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City.

The pre-application is the first step in the application process. To be eligible for consideration into the Class of 2027, candidates must also submit a full application, two letters of recommendation, a brief introductory video, and headshot.

All application materials are due by Friday, December 4, at 4:00 p.m.

The new class will be selected by the 2027 ALC Steering Committee, led by Chair Jill Ibison Vessels and Vice Chair Justin Goertz. There will be two networking opportunities to meet with Steering Committee members. Attendance at one of the events is encouraged but not mandatory.

We are so proud of how each ALC class goes above and beyond to deliver the most impactful community investment project possible for TREC Community Investors and the Dallas communities we serve.

This year, the 30th anniversary Class of 2026 went beyond all the classes that have come before, setting a new class record with more than $200,000 raised in FightNight raffle ticket sales and collected donations throughout the summer.

Victoria Morris of Jackson Walker LLP led the class with $9,700 in raffle tickets sold, while Bailey Wood of JLL raised $20,287 in donations.

The funding will benefit their renovation of the nonprofit Braswell Child Development Center as part of the ongoing Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City neighborhood revitalization initiative.

We’re so excited to return to the Omni Dallas Hotel tomorrow night for our biggest fundraising event of the year, FightNight ###VII: Luck be a Legend!

The Rat Pack-inspired festivities will kick off at 6:30 p.m. in the Dallas Ballroom Foyer. Ballroom doors will open at 8:00 and dinner will be served around 8:15. Boxing and casino gaming will begin at 9:30.

FightNight proceeds benefit TREC Community Investors and its neighborhood revitalization initiatives, like Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City.

Our office will be closed tomorrow and Friday. If you have any last-minute questions or changes to your guest list, please email [email protected] or call 214-692-3600.

All guests will receive complimentary valet parking (please contact your table host if you did not receive your valet pass), but we recommend using a rideshare service so you get to and from FightNight safely.
