Think this dog is cute? He is cute. That’s a fact. And you can meet this cutie this Saturday from 12-2 at Vector Brewing.

and a few of his fellow adoptable friends will be at Vector Brewing’s Hausfest, a super fun celebration filled with sips, snacks, and an array of vendors. You won’t want to miss this!

Great info!

Kind can be boring.
Sometimes it needs to be.

We want to show them their new life.
But they might need time to recover from the old one first.

And I completely understand the excitement.

You've brought this dog home and you want to give them everything.
All the things that say, "look how good your life can be now"!

But they don't know that yet.

They don't know this house is permanent.
They don't know which noises matter.
They don't know the people walking through the door.

Even the routines they relied on have changed.
Everything's changed.

But one thing we do know.

They arrived with a history.

Sometimes one we know quite a lot about.
Sometimes one we know almost nothing about.

So while we're thinking about all the wonderful things we'd like to add into their life, they may still be trying to make sense of the life they have just landed in.

That's why making their world smaller for a while isn't necessarily depriving them.
It can be giving them fewer things to process at once.

And then, when their new world starts making a bit more sense, it can grow.

There is plenty of time for adventures.
But they don't need to experience their whole new life in their first week.

miraculously survived being shot in the face while on the streets, did a wonderful job raising her 10 puppies and has been patiently waiting for someone to choose her for over 3 years!

Sometimes the dog who has been waiting the longest is simply the dog who hasn’t been given the chance to show you who they really are.

She’s a good mix of playful and also enjoys spending time lounging on the couch 😊

We’re looking to place Ruthie as the only animal in the home so she can soak up the attention from the loving family she’s deserved all along! ❤️

is a 3-year-old, 56 lb boy with the sweetest soul. He’s a true Velcro dog: loyal, cuddly, and always close by.

The rundown:

🐾 Low energy. A neighborhood walk and a cozy couch make his day
🐾 House trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Best in an adult-only home with no cats
🐾 Needs a yard

He has his silly, quirky moments, but mostly Niko just wants to relax next to his person.
