We’re proud to share that the Dale Community Center has been selected for two 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant awards, including a micro grant and a demonstration grant.

These grants will help us continue improving the Dale Community Center as a welcoming, accessible, and useful community space for residents of all ages. Our work focuses on practical improvements that make it easier for neighbors to gather, stay active, connect with one another, and access community resources close to home.

For a rural community like Dale, shared public spaces matter. The Dale Community Center serves as a place for recreation, family connection, community meals, local events, youth activities, and programs that support older adults and families.

We are grateful to AARP for investing in small communities and for recognizing the importance of projects that help people stay connected, active, and engaged.
