C’mon out to City Park…we are at the park for our Juneteenth Picnic 4:30-7:30. It’s a BREEZY, cloudy, cool evening.

The grill is heating up…FREE HOT DOGS, chips, pickles and drinks!!!

Popcorn 🍿 for the movie 🎥 in the park.

Now that the dust has settled from CTR, everyone is invited to join us in the Lockhart City Park this Saturday starting at 4:30pm to celebrate JUNETEENTH!! We will once again be gathering under the oaks to enjoy some food and fellowship. District 1 will be providing free hot dogs, chips, pickles and watermelon for a nice SUMMER PICNIC before this month's scheduled Free Movie in the Park. Hope you can join us!

Continuing a tradition started in 2004, District 1 Pride is proudly sponsoring the 23rd Annual Martin Luther King March next Monday, January 19’th.

This year's March will start at 10:00 a.m. at MLK Boulevard (and corner of Seawillow Rd) and will end at the Connection Center (200 S. Blanco). There will be a program following the March at the Connection Center at 11:00 a.m. A hot lunch and dessert will be provided for all attendees.

It currently looks like the warmer weather is going to hold- we hope you can join us and make this year’s March one of the biggest ever.
