As May heats up across our area, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors, while keeping our kids safe and comfortable.

💧 Here are a few simple hot weather tips for kids:
• Stay hydrated + encourage water breaks often
• Take shade breaks during peak sun hours
• Wear light, breathable clothing
• Don’t forget sunscreen for outdoor play

Last night, we were blessed to attend the Zephyrhills High School Senior Awards ceremony to recognize two of the five hard-working seniors that we chose as recipients for this year’s Providing Wings to Soar Scholarship. Sunshine, fresh air, and a little creativity ☀️🌿

May is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy a simple “Nature Scavenger Hunt” with your kids - a fun, no-cost activity that turns an ordinary day into an adventure.

🌼 How to do it:
Create a short list of items for kids to find outside: like a yellow flower, a butterfly, a smooth rock, or something that makes them smile. Head to a local park or backyard and let them explore, collect, and share what they discover.

💛 Why it matters:
Outdoor activities like this help children build curiosity, reduce stress, and encourage imagination... all while giving them the freedom to just be kids.
