A moment of joy, honor & gratitude for me & SRFA for being acknowledged for service to community USA, by Bay Area Senior Musician & Guru Smt Rama Thyagarajan, the spear head of Maarga USA. Senior Violinist Vignesh Thyagarajan who conducted the event eloquently spoke about me & SRFA which was very touching and heart warming. Wishing Maarga USA many more years.

SR Fine Arts celebrated its 14th Anniversary & Pallavi Festival with all grandeur. The Pallavi theme was based on Muthuswami Diksh*tar's compositions to celebrate his 250th Jayanthi. Each and every performer had painstakingly worked on the Pallavi & delivered it with gait befitting the great composer the youngest of the Musical Trinity. At one point there was power outage at the venue & we had a mikeless segment which brought back thoughts of Padmanabha Swamy temple in Trivandrum. Gurus Smt Kasthuri Shivakumar, Sri Ravindrabharathy Sridharan,Sri Mahesh Balaji, Sri Hari Devanath, Sri Natarajan Srinivasan graced the occasion with their presence was truly grafting. The decor was excellent adding more divinity to the venue & food delicious - treat for the eye, ears & stomach. With profound gratitude to the Gurus & entire Bay Area Community. Shobana Sujitkumar
