What a pleasure to host Ms. Ivy Lawson with Launch Ability yesterday as our Principal for a Day. Launch Ability is making a big impact empowering and employing individuals with disabilities. One way you can support their work is by having a delicious meal at SliceAbility in the Cu***ng City Center. We learned so much from one another during her visit.

Thankful to get to participate in the Principal for a Day program with the Forsyth County Chamber and Forsyth County Schools. So exciting getting to visit Settles Bridge Elementary School and shadowing Principal Lamb! We always love when we get to make connections within our community! Workforce starts within our school system and we are always excited to get to share our mission to further our efforts!

Yesterday, we had our second bi-monthly reverse job fair showcasing many qualified candidates. Perfect opportunity to start the month off in an impactful way especially because October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! It was a great way to celebrate value and talent right here in our community! We are so thankful for the local business leaders that came to interview our highly qualified candidates.

If you are looking to add talent to your team, please reach out to us and let Launch Ability be a resource for your business in equipping you to hire people of all abilities!

We love when our community partners show up because they understand the impact it will have on creating change for a more inclusive workforce!

Thank you Cheeky Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

Had an incredible evening volunteering with Launchability at SliceAbility Pizza!

Clients had their own table and resume set up to practice mock interviewing skills. It was so inspiring hearing everyone highlight their unique talents, confidence, and passion for the workforce. Programs like this do amazing work bridging the gap toward true inclusive hiring.

Our second bi-monthly Reverse Job Fair is happening TODAY!
(As seen on Fox 5)

We will showcase adults with disabilities that are actively looking for gainful employment to potential employers in our community. A reverse job fair is a controlled setting that allows for candidate empowerment, an ability to practice real in-person interviews, resume development, and the possibility of employment!

If you would like to come today as a business leader and potential employer, message us!
