Have you checked out the Deltopia Throwback Store on Bonfire? This year the DelFest Foundation partnered with Del’s Army to host their classic DelFest T-Shirt designs in a print-on-demand merch store. Just like at the festival, all proceeds from these designs will be donated to the Western MD Food Bank.

Way to go Darron and Del's Army!

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Darron, and Del's Army, for their incredibly generous donation to our shelter in memory of Barbara Buehl. We are truly honored that Barbara's memory is helping provide care, comfort, and second chances for our animals.

We would also like to recognize Darron's wife, Sara, for raising money for her birthday and donating the proceeds to support our animals. What an amazing way to celebrate!

The generosity of Darron, Del's Army, and everyone who contributed will make a meaningful difference in the lives of dogs and cats in our care. Thank you for your compassion and commitment to helping animals in need. ❤️🐾

Happy DelFest, the most delightful time of the year! The DelFest Foundation raffle is getting underway, and our friends at Del’s Army are on site beside the main entrance to the music meadow. They’re set up collecting food donations, hosting a silent auction, and selling these phenomenal 2026 t-shirts. Just like in our online store, all proceeds from the shirt sales and silent action go to the Western Maryland Foodbank.

It’s DelFest week and the DelFest Foundation is so excited to celebrate with everyone in Cumberland! Once the festival begins you can help the foundation give back to the community all year, by participating in three ways: purchasing delicious beverages, tipping generously at the beverage stations, and testing your luck by buying raffle tickets. We’re one week away from DelFest so let’s celebrate with the release of our final throwback shirt, Del's Special Reserve! The 2019 Del's Army design celebrated Del's 80th year with a jug of good ol' mountain dew, and now you can reserve your own special edition shirt at the link in the comments.

When devastating flooding hit the area last May, just before DelFest 2025, the DelFest Foundation decided that 100% of the tip money from the festival’s beverage sales would be devoted to flood relief projects. Your generosity totaled a whopping $28,468, all of which was donated to local organizations focused on rebuilding and resiliency efforts.

Recently our board members visited Westernport to see the recovery progress in person. We toured the Potomac Volunteer Fire Station and saw their new UTV which was purchased with the foundation’s donation. The volunteers have completed the rebuilding of their facility and are working to customize the new vehicle which will greatly help their ability to serve the community going forward.

The Allegany County Library’s resilience was most impressive. We toured what remains of their original Westernport building which was devastated by floodwaters, and then visited their temporary location which will remain open as they continue to raise funds to rebuild the important community center. Festival season is in full swing and the 2023 Del’s Army design is on deck in the Deltopia Throwback store!
