lessing hand! BLESSING BOX DONATION GUIDELINES:

1. Please help stock the Blessing Box with non-perishable food such as pop-top canned foods or individually packaged snacks, toiletry and hygiene items, baby care items, bandaids, school supplies, socks, hats, gloves, toothbrushes, etc. We ask that donations are NOT left outside The Blessing Box, so that animals are not attracted to food items/left out in inclement weather.

2. Please be mindful that the items could stay in the box for a period of time. Best not to leave things that could explode or will go bad in the heat or cold-NO GLASS ITEMS, please!

3. This is not a place for expired food. If you wouldn’t use it yourself, please don’t leave it in the box.

4. Handwritten notes spreading a message of kindness and encouragement is welcomed.

5. Please do not leave trash behind and please make sure the door is closed when finished.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that helped out with Sunday's meal. It's not easy cooking for 70+ people...that said, these folks often get meals that are easy to prepare for a crowd. We were able to not only drop off the bagged lunches, but our friends enjoyed the cans of iced tea, baked chicken, and the potato/pasta, garden salads and desserts you helped out with. This pic is from a message from one of the site coordinators....you truly do make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors in need....no questions asked...you just show up 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Just dropped off canned iced tea, rploasted chicken, potato and pasta salad, garden salad, dinner rolls, dessert, AND the bagged lunches!! Folks were lining up but got out of the line to help me unpack. Everyone was in a great mood and ready to eat. Thank you doesn't seem big enough to express the gratitude I feel right now. Hope you all get to enjoy the day!

Thankful for ALL of our volunteers that turned up to help make 260 bagged lunches this morning and drop offnon perishable items ahead of tomorrow's picnic lunch for our friends in need in Pawtucket. A huge shout out to our friends at The Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry, who also dropped off bread donations. We cannot do what we do without your support!

Good morning community! As many of you know, due to budget cuts there will be no summer lunch in Social Park this year for the kids, so community is stepping in.
What we need: sun butter, jelly, bread, kids snacks, water etc, paper lunch bags, plastic sandwich bags, gift cards to purchase lunch meats etc.

What we have: fresh veggies each week, food from Feed RI.
Folks who want to make lunches we have the meeting coming up to make the schedule and assign days.
Food program to run July 7-Aug 7.

SUN Bucks is back! DHS will be disbursing a one-time benefit of $120 per eligible child the week of June 15 to help ensure kids continue to have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.
