Campers were pretending they were sweet potato plants and I was discussing the best ways to water them. We discussed the different ways to water on our nozzle! Some plants got wetter than others, but we had fun while learning!

Thank you to Mr. Travis Kress with Alabama Cooperative Extension System for telling us about his career with A.C.E.S. Mr. Kress discussed sweet potatoes and taught campers the best way to plant sweet potatoes. Campers leveled the soil, looked for the node, dug a hole, planted and watered the sweet potato slips!
