A note to our community--

We want to address something directly: this year, the PTA did not provide yard signs or yearbooks to 5th grade students as had been discussed at this year's budget meeting. We recognize that this came as a surprise to families, and we're sorry for the lack of advance communication. That's on us.

Here's what we want you to know: the funds budgeted for those items were reallocated to support 5th grade promotion. Every dollar set aside for 5th graders went to 5th graders - just in a different form than originally planned.

As a new board, this year has been one of learning -- including building an accurate financial picture from the ground up. We go into next year with real numbers, clearer processes, and a stronger commitment to keeping our community informed.

Your trust matters to us. If you have questions about how PTA funds are being used, please reach out -- we are always willing to share that information with our members.
