Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware The BCM/D is strategically located in the heart of the mid-Atlantic region.

The Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware is a cooperative missions and ministry organization made up of more than 500 autonomous Baptist churches in Maryland and Delaware. A variety of state and worldwide ministries are coordinated through its administrative offices in Columbia, Md., including: missions work, disaster relief, ministry training and support, church development, evangelism and more. From the suburbs of the nation's Capitol, to the mountains of western Maryland, to the seashore, to the Chesapeake Bay watershed, to the urban centers of Baltimore and Wilmington, BCM/D serves its constituent churches. The two states represent a highly diverse population with nearly six million people organized in twenty-seven counties.

Our guest this month is Meredith Teasley. Meredith does external theological reviews of all kids' camp materials for CentriKid, from camp Bible study lesson plans to sermon outlines, daily devotionals, and guides for church group time at camp. She was also one of the creators of The Gospel God's Plan for Me! Hear how she reviews materials and what we as leaders can do when choosing materials for our ministries!

A healthy kids ministry is one where volunteers feel safe to speak up. When leaders welcome questions, respond with gratitude, and model accountability, they create a culture where prevention becomes everyone's responsibility. Protecting kids starts with a culture that values every voice.

WOW! SLC 2026 is a wrap, and it was incredible.

We are so thankful for RJ McCauley who came and poured into our students and their leaders, as well as Skycroft Conference Center who threw the best after party ever to end the day.

Join us in continuing to pray that the next generation across our two states would carry the Gospel with boldness, and that their leaders would be encouraged, equipped, and strengthened to guide them well.

Thank you to every student, leader, and church who joined us. We can’t wait to see what God does next! 🙏
