Crosswicks Community House

Crosswicks Community House Crosswicks Community Association was incorporated in September 1919. The building opened in 1923.

For almost 90 years the Crosswicks Community Association through the Crosswicks Community House has served as a meeting place of Scouts, antique car enthusiasts, dancers, and yoga and exercise classes to name a few. Halloween parades and parties, Christmas tree lighting and Santa’s arrival, summer splash days, concerts on the green and other events have been hosted at The Community House. Musician

s have taken advantage of the stage on the second floor to perform as well as several comedic events. In addition, private affairs such as bridal and baby showers, birthday and graduation parties, Thanksgiving dinners and fundraisers have made use of the facility. In 2007, a new kitchen was installed thanks to Boy Scout Pack 55 and an Eagle Scout project.

Chesterfield Cub Scout Pack 55 is once again selling beautifully decorated fresh pine 28-inch wreaths for $35 this holiday season!

Online orders that are placed by Nov 28th are guaranteed to be hand-delivered by scouts to local addresses. If local delivery is not possible, we will contact you to arrange alternative method. In addition to this online sale, we will also have our in-person wreath sale in Crosswicks the Saturday after Thanksgiving, outside the Crosswicks Community House.

Through Scouting, our wonderful Pack consisting of more than 50 local Kindergarten through 5th grade Scouts are learning to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes, through citizenship, character, personal fitness and leadership development.

Our Scouts volunteer their time in support of the Northern Burlington community and beyond, by participating in neighborhood cleanups, collecting essentials for the Rescue Mission of Trenton, volunteering at the Veterans Cemetery, and more.

Through this fundraiser, we are asking the community to help us offset costs to run a successful mission to and celebrate our 60th Anniversary!
