Our Mission - help pay for medical needs of Bulldogs in Rescue We are not a Rescue. Rescues need to be a 501c3, apply and submit their 990.

We raise money through various events to give to rescues, whether it be for a specific bulldog or for general vet bills for the whole rescue.

🐝💕 BUMBLE HAS A FEW RULES… AND SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT SHE WANTS! 😂

Meet our resident Bumble returned! And before you get the wrong idea, this girl isn't naughty… she's just VERY particular about her social circle! 😉

At 2 years old and 38 pounds, this adorable American Bulldog is funny, goofy, entertaining, and guaranteed to make you smile. She has a big personality, a whole lot of charm, and she knows exactly what she likes… and what she doesn't!

Bumble has decided that children and other dogs aren't really her thing, but cats? Well, apparently they're just fine! Go figure! 😂

You see, Bumble isn't looking for a big, busy household or a social calendar filled with playdates. She's looking for someone who appreciates her for who she is. Someone who will let her be the queen of her castle, enjoy her silly antics, and give her all the love and attention she deserves.

And honestly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with knowing what you want! ❤️

Bumble is looking for an adult home where she can be the one and only canine queen. If you appreciate a dog with personality, a goofy sense of humor, and plenty of love to give, she might just be your girl!

🥒 Pickle is newly available for adoption!

This happy-go-lucky Frenchie is equal parts sweet potato and mischievous dill! He loves playing Bitey Face with his foster sister, greeting new friends, and following his person everywhere. He prefers gentle pets over hugs and laps, and while he loves your company, he does well alone during the workday with no separation anxiety.

Pickle does well with children of all ages and other dogs. He could thrive with a family, couple, or single person in an apartment or house. A yard is optional; love and a Pickle-proofed home are essential!

⭐️ A few important things about this lovable boy:

🐾 Keep activity short and cool. Very closed nares make him prone to overheating. A quick loop around the block twice daily is enough.

🐾 Protect his back. X-rays show early signs of IVDD, so fewer stairs are ideal. His family must be comfortable safely lifting this hefty boy when needed. He has learned to use ramps!

🐾 Keep potty routines consistent. After months of GI trouble, Pickle has improved significantly and is down to about three bowel movements daily. He uses p*e pads for backup and needs continued help learning a potty signal.

🐾 Watch that curious mouth! Pickle loves chewing and has swallowed things he shouldn’t. Supervise him around soft toys and other destroyable items, and keep tempting objects out of reach, including on coffee tables. Thankfully, he redirects easily and allows items to be removed without growling.

🐾 Gentle care goes a long way. He does well with ear cleaning and post-walk wipe-downs, though a sore bum can make him sensitive. Nail trims belong at the vet.

Curious, affectionate, food-motivated, and eager to learn, Pickle has made wonderful progress learning how to be a pet. His favorite place is simply near you. 💚

Selected adopters must pick him up from his foster family; FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo. Dogs live in private foster homes, so specific locations are not disclosed, and meet-and-greets are not arranged before applications.

This week's Dog of the Week is 🌻Lena🌻!

Lena came to us from a shelter in April amd has not had one application. She is approximately 6 years old but is active and fun. Volunteers that spend time with her says she loves going on walks and greeting people along the way. She adores attention and you can just see the happiness on her face.
