We recently attended Cromwell High School's Field Day, where we offered students an opportunity to share messages of hope, kindness, and mental wellness. These messages are now on display in the Cromwell Town Hall lobby throughout the summer.

We invite the community to stop by, read their inspiring words, and celebrate the positive impact of youth voices in building a caring and connected community.

We'd like to remind residents about Connecticut's Social Host Laws. Homeowners can be held legally responsible for underage alcohol or cannabis use occurring on their property, even if they are unaware that it is taking place. The law, first enacted in 2012 for alcohol and expanded in 2021 to include adult-use cannabis, reinforces the importance of providing safe and substance-free celebrations for young people.
