☀️As the school year begins to wind down, many SLSs are balancing final sessions, progress monitoring, meetings, and the never-ending paperwork push. This is also a great time to reflect on what worked well this year, and what systems or strategies could make next year run more smoothly.

📌 Consider:
Which therapy materials or activities were most successful this year?
What organizational system helped you stay on top of paperwork and scheduling?
Is there anything you wish you had started earlier this year?

Small steps now can make August and September feel much more manageable later.

💬 SAC wants to hear from you: What is one thing you do in June that helps set you up for success for the following school year?

📎📄End-of-year paperwork season is here! From progress reports and billing to Medicaid logs, case management tasks, and preparing for ESY or transitions, this time of year can feel especially busy for SLSs.

One helpful strategy can be creating systems now that your “future self” will appreciate in September:
✔️ Organizing digital files
✔️ Updating caseload trackers
✔️ Saving templates and parent communication samples
✔️ Taking inventory of therapy materials

A little preparation now can help reduce stress when the new school year begins.

🔄🗣️ Saturdays with SAC | Carryover & Real-World Application

Progress isn’t just what happens in the therapy room—it’s what carries over into the classroom and beyond.

School Strategy:
✔️ Embed goals into classroom routines (morning meeting, group work, transitions)
✔️ Collaborate with teachers on when and where skills show up
✔️ Track not just accuracy—but independence and generalization

Carryover is where growth becomes functional.

Don’t forget to join SAC for our final meeting of the school year this Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30 to 7:30! Email [email protected] to receive the link! We look forward to closing out the year with you!
