🏀 CRANFORD PAL BASKETBALL TRYOUTS ARE COMING! 🏀

It’s time to get ready for the 2026–2027 Cranford PAL Basketball Season!

Tryouts will be held September 28–October 8 at Orange Avenue School for boys and girls in 4th–8th grade.

đź“… Each grade level has TWO tryout sessions. Players are required to attend at least ONE session, although attending both is highly recommended.

TRYOUT SCHEDULE:
• September 28–October 1
• October 5–October 8
• Sessions are scheduled between 5:30–9:00 PM, depending on grade level.

This season, PAL Basketball is also working toward some exciting program improvements, including B teams where registration numbers allow, additional gym space, and continued paid coaching for 7th & 8th grade teams.

⚠️ Please note: Due to ongoing construction within the school district, dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Any updates will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.

This year, Cranford PAL CHEERLEADING registrations will be opening ahead of Memorial Day to allow for a smoother experience with uniform orders. Please visit www.cranfordpal.org today to register!

PAL cheerleading is a wonderful opportunity for girls grades 4 through 8 to learn cheers, dances and stunts while having fun. This is also an excellent opportunity to introduce your young athlete to this sport in preparation for high school cheerleading.

The season begins with summer practices starting second week of August and ends the first week of November but could go into second week if PAL Football makes it to the playoffs.

Practices and program information will be available on our website www.cranfordpal.org.

There is a $100 sign up fee from PAL and our uniforms are $140 depending on what is needed.

CHS Student Hailey Smolanoff has organized the 2nd Annual Dave D'Arco Memorial Hoop-A-Thon April 19th, 2026 from 10AM until 4PM at the Cranford Recreation Center (375 Centennial Avenue, Cranford).
