Our 2026-27 fellowship retreat took us to the town of Gazi Bay, Kenya! There, we met up with Kassim Juma, project coordinator of the community-led initiative Mikoko Pamoja, to learn more about mangrove conservation and restoration in the area. Our Fellows toured the neighborhood, passing structures supported by the initiative, before heading to the mangrove forest. (1/3)
