Covington - Ga. Lions Club

The Covington Lions Club is part of the largest service organization in the world. We are 58 men and women - some working, some retired. Our motto is "WE SERVE".

Our Club is in District I, which is in the NE quadrant of the State of Georgia (USA) made up of 57 Clubs. Our Club is one of 46,000 Lions Clubs around the world in 207 countries. Lions Clubs are the largest non-profit, service organization in the world. They focus on sight and hearing impairment, Diabetes, Measles Eradication, Disaster and community service. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Lions Clubhouse at Academy Springs Park on Conyers Street.

The world famous Covington Lions Club Chicken BBQ
will be here before you know it. Wednesday, April 15 from 11 am until 7 pm. At Academy Springs Park. The entrances to the park are open and will remain open. The drive thru on Legion Drive is also open. The cost is $13 per plate. Dine in or take out.

The very world famous Covington Lions Club Chicken BBQ will soon be upon us. On Wednesday, April 15th from 11 until 7. At Academy Springs Park on the corner of Legion Drive and what's left of Conyers Street. We have assurances that the construction will have moved up the street and won't hinder access to the park. We will have eat in or drive through. The drive through will be at the American Legion building just across the street. This is a community event that has been happening for over 30 years. Don't miss out. Tickets can be purchased from any Lions member.

The world famous SECRET RECIPE Covington Lions Club Chili Supper is only a week or so away. It will happen on Thursday, February 12th from 5 pm until 7 pm. At Academy Springs Park. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids. All you can eat. Eat in or take out. You can buy tickets from any Lions member or go to Mayfield's Ace Hardware. Or you can buy them at the door. Come eat with your neighbors and have a good time.
