We are a non-governmental, humanitarian and non-profit organization established to raise money and provide funding for local charities and projects in the Western Balkan countries focused on removing the obstacles that vulnerable children are facing.

⚽ Our next project: let's get 200+ kids moving!
This time we're going to Kosovska Kamenica, Kosovo and Metohija, Serbia. The elementary school OŠ "Desanka Maksimović" there is about 150 years old and has more than 200 students, many from the surrounding villages.

The school has award-winning students and one of the best libraries in the region. What its children are missing is simple: proper equipment for PE and outdoor lessons.

Together with the school, we made a list:

🏀 footballs, basketballs and volleyballs, 🤸 gymnastics mats, 🚲 bikes, plus cones, hula hoops, skipping ropes and agility ladders, so every child can stay active, healthy and creative.

🎯 Our goal: $3,500
 💙 Every dollar goes to the children. We are 100% volunteer-run.
 🧾 After delivery, we'll publish all receipts and the school's signed confirmation.

🇲🇰 Our first project in North Macedonia: SOS Children's Village Skopje. 💙
In May 2023, we delivered $1,250 worth of aid to the SOS Children's Village in Skopje.
🏀 Footballs, basketballs and a basketball hoop, because play matters just as much as school
🎒 Backpacks, school supplies and watercolors
🧺 Diapers and laundry detergent for everyday life
The SOS Village isn't a typical orphanage. The children live in real houses with foster parents who care for them around the clock, together with brothers and sisters, like a family.

In December 2021, we delivered New Year gift packages to the Safe House of the Local Democracy Foundation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 🇧🇦

It is a place where mothers and their children find protection and a new start.The children there ranged from a 1-month-old baby to teenagers, so we chose each package to fit their age: sweets, toys, and beauty products for the teenage girls. 🧸🍫

Our coordinator brought every package from Serbia herself, just in time for the holidays. 💛

5 to 15 years old, and already living or working on the streets of Belgrade.

Svratište za decu (the Shelter for Children) is a safe place for them. They get a warm meal, clean clothes, shoes for the weather, help with school and somewhere safe to stay. There are also creative, educational and sports activities, so they can simply be kids for a while. Social workers, special educators and nurses go out into the streets to build trust with the children and their families. 💙

For one of our larger donations, we brought what they needed most: shoes, socks, underwear, shampoos and lice shampoos, worth $1,090.

Not every child has a home to go back to at night. 💙

The Shelter for Children and Young People in Novi Sad, Serbia, has been open since 2010. It's a drop-in shelter for children and young people aged 5 to 19 who live or work on the street. They come by during the day for a warm meal, a shower, clean clothes, a quiet place to rest and someone who listens. Last year there were over 7,000 visits, about 20 every day.

The shelter told us what they needed most: disposable diapers for the little ones, children's cosmetics, bath products and shampoos. So that's what we brought, plus laundry detergent and fabric softener to keep everything clean. 📦

To everyone who donated, baked for our bake sales, bought The Balkan Voyage, shared a post or simply told a friend about us: thank you.

Because of you, we've delivered $28,040 across 14 projects in 4 countries: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Beds, tables, school supplies, diapers, shoes, and a little bit of joy.

We're 100% volunteer-run, so every dollar goes to the children. And every receipt is public.

15 boxes for the children's shelter in Vranje, Serbia. 📦

There are needs beyond food, clothing and shelter. For Prihvatilište za decu i omladinu "Olivera Verica Đorđević" we packed personal care and hygiene products: children's diapers, wet wipes, liquid soap, toilet paper, disinfectant, masks and gloves.

Hvala to our volunteers and to everyone who donated. 💙 We went back in 2023, because we believe in long-term partnerships, not one-time visits.

$3,120 for a school of 600 students in Višegrad. 📚

We didn't guess what they needed. The teachers told us: a projector, maps, 55 books and 12 balls. And the director told us bullying is almost non-existent at this school. March & September 2025.

27 care packages for the youngest pupils in Velino Selo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 🎁

Every child in grades 1 to 4 at the regional school in Velino Selo, part of Elementary School "Vražići", got a package of sweets, juices and toys. With the rest of the money, the older students went on a day trip to Brčko: lunch, drinks, ice cream and an indoor playground.

Days out like this are rare for these kids. They had lots of fun on the trip and were very thankful. 💙
