We are involved in various community events and our members are officers with the Cortland and Bazetta Police Departments as well as some deputies and other agencies. We wil use this page to let the community know what programs are going on in the community as well as lodge activty

The pet costume contest was a big hit at the Halloween on Main Street. Thank you to Totally Dog for sponsoring that event. It was so fun to include some furry friends in the event!

The Cortland-Bazetta Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #168 is proud to announce its first annual Halloween on Main, a fun and safe trunk-or-treat event for children and families in the Cortland community.

With the City of Cortland officially canceling all city-sponsored events for the remainder of the year, the members of FOP #168 felt a strong commitment to ensuring that local children still have the opportunity to enjoy a safe and festive Halloween tradition.

Halloween on Main will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in downtown Cortland. The event will feature candy giveaways and Halloween fun for all ages.

The Cortland-Bazetta FOP is currently seeking businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in participating by handing out candy.

The Cortland - Bazetta F.O.P. Lodge #168 was proud to donate a custom made face mask to each of the 109 residents of Cortview Village to assist in providing them with some protection as they carry out their day to day activities.

The materials for the masks were donated by Katie and Jim Watson, formerly of Cortland, who now reside in Melbourne Beach Florida.

The masks were made at the request of the F.O.P. by Christine Ross of Cortland.

Christine charged a very very modest fee per mask and asked that her payment be donated to the Cortland Area Cares Food Bank.

The drawing is 10 days before Christmas. The top prize is $1,000.00. Each ticket can win one prize.
