Animal Resource Center - ARC We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit based in Cortland, OH. ARC will provide direct support and services where it is needed most to helpless animals.

Services include our pet food pantry, spay/neuter clinics and programs, and cat/kitten adoption rooms.

🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ Meet King Tut and Cleopatra, two absolutely adorable siblings who are ready to find their forever families! These two little sweethearts have been in foster care for the past five weeks, but are now ready to find their forever family! 

👑 King Tut is a handsome medium-haired boy with the softest fur and the most gorgeous eyes. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure.

👑 Cleopatra is a beautiful short-haired girl with silky-soft fur, stunning eyes, and a sweet, spunky personality that will steal your heart.

Kylo is still waiting for someone to even want to meet him. 💔

This sweet boy has come so far, but the pound is still a hard, overwhelming place for him. Kylo tries, he learns, he trusts a little more each day... but he really needs a home to finally feel safe and settle.

Kylo is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/Cane Corso/Lab mix, about 75 lbs, and fully vetted. With time and patience, he becomes everything someone could possibly want in a best friend: loyal, gentle, loving, and completely devoted. Kylo is dog friendly (meet required).

🐾 A Little Pause, With Big Purpose

🐱💕 As many of you have seen, we are overflowing with tiny babies needing love, care, medical attention, and around-the-clock support. Thankfully, we have an incredible staff and team of volunteers and fosters working tirelessly every single day to keep these little ones safe, healthy, and loved. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of them. ❤️

At this time, Animal Resource Center will be temporarily closed to the public while we regroup and focus on the animals currently in our care. During this time, we are continuing to work hard behind the scenes catching up on spays and neuters, vaccines, medical treatments, and ongoing care for the many animals depending on us.

Our responsibility has always been to make sure the animals we bring in are receiving everything they need physically, emotionally, and medically. In rescue, it can be so hard to say “not right now” when animals need help, but if we continue saying YES without ensuring we have the time, space, and resources to properly care for the animals already relying on us, it ultimately becomes overwhelming and stressful for the very pets we are trying to save.

This short pause is not because we are slowing down — it is because we care deeply about doing things the right way for the animals. We want to come back organized, prepared, and ready for all of the wonderful adoptions and new beginnings ahead.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support during one of the busiest rescue seasons of the year. Your kindness, encouragement, and support for our volunteers, fosters, and animals truly means the world to us. 🐾✨

The difference between their before and after photos says it all. From scared, sick, tiny, and unsure…to healthy, confident, happy cats ready for forever homes. None of that happens without the love, patience, and dedication of our foster families.

Fostering truly changes lives. You give these animals a safe place to heal, grow, learn trust, and become the best version of themselves before adoption. Every late night feeding, every cuddle, every bit of extra care makes a bigger impact than you know.
