Spend Halloween day with us at The Cook Education Center for a free, family-friendly art show featuring Marvin Self. Wander through his original artwork, check out the antique cars on display out front, and grab some candy and light refreshments while you're here. Whether you're stopping in for a quick look or staying to explore the whole show, it's a fun way to spend part of your October 31st in Corsicana.
About Marvin

Marvin Self has been creating art since 2008. A lifelong Texan, his artistic style grew directly out of his background in automotive paint and body work — years spent taping cars for custom paint jobs led him to fine-line tape, the same material used for pinstriping, as the foundation of his process.

Self layers concept, design, and color to build pieces that go beyond the visual: many contain thoughts or ideas that aren't immediately obvious, intentionally rewarding viewers who take a second look. His work has been exhibited at the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival.

On October 31, Self brings his bodywork roots full circle with "From Bodywork to Brushwork," an exhibit at The Cook Education Center featuring his artwork alongside a display of antique and custom-painted cars.
