🎉 The CCDC is turning 20 — and we’re ready to celebrate! 🎉

Two decades of community impact deserves a party, so we’re hosting a Gala on October 24th at Montour Heights Country Club, and all of our friends are invited. Host a table and bring your crew, or grab a ticket and come celebrate with the people who’ve helped shape Coraopolis over the last twenty years.

We’ve got live music from The Jive Daisies, a packed silent auction, and an evening full of stories from our first 20 years — plus a look ahead at the next 20. We truly couldn’t be here without you. Come celebrate this milestone with us! 🥂✨

A little good news to share:
Over the past two decades, the CCDC has helped revitalize the downtown business district, restored and activated community spaces, expanded food access for local families, launched a variety of programs, and advanced the restoration of the historic Coraopolis Train Station. These accomplishments — and the momentum behind them — are thanks to the support of neighbors, partners, and friends like you.

Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and step boldly into the future. 💛

It’s Giving Tuesday—a day when generosity transforms communities, and we’re inviting you to be part of preserving the historic Coraopolis Train Station.

Over the past few years, we’ve been steadily breathing new life into our beloved Coraopolis Train Station—a landmark that has stood for more than a century as part of our town’s story.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and private grants, we’ve made incredible strides in 2025:

✅ Completed the Northside Overhangs
✅ Leveled and insulated the crawl space
✅ Installed a brand-new subfloor
✅ Finished major exterior improvements

Each milestone brings us closer to reopening this historic treasure as a vibrant hub for our community. And we’re not stopping here—our sights are set on beginning interior restoration in 2026.
This project is possible only because of the generous support of people like you who believe in preserving history while building a stronger future for Coraopolis.

💙 On this Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in keeping the momentum alive. Your gift helps ensure that this station—once a gateway to our town—becomes a gathering place for generations to come.
