Canine Service Pals, Inc. began in order to help children, adolescents, and young adults with special needs be paired with assistance dogs free of charge.

We are looking for 2 puppy raisers. WHAT IS A PUPPY RAISER?
It is someone who fosters the dog while training is in progress. During your time of fostering, you will do basic training and socialization, with the guidance of our trainers. These pups will go on and make a huge difference in someone's life.

Look who is 6 years old!! When he was 2 he was given to Cara Nash Snyder as a stability service dog. This is different than a mobility support service dog. This is one of the hardest dogs to match.. There is a formula but oreo met all criteria for Cara. Including being half of Cara's weight. Oreo has played a huge part in helping Cara walk. We are so proud of this amazing dog.!!

Congratulations to Colby Jack who just passed his Canine Good Citizens Test. He is moving is a great direction thanks to our great trainers leading Shirley Starrett Schoen, a first time puppy raiser. This shows that anyone can do it if they have the heart. We are looking for more puppy raisers just like Shirley.
