(CCDC) is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission of providing resources and redevelopment to the community of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The CCDC (formerly the Coraopolis Community Development Foundation) started as a grassroots organization in 2006 and has steadily built its donor and volunteer base over the years. At the heart of the organization’s mission is the well-being and prosperity of the people of Coraopolis and the surrounding areas.

The Borough is gathering volunteers to help plant flowers in the planters throughout the business district. It’s a quick, feel‑good way to brighten up Coraopolis for the season.

What a Wonderful Garden Planting Day & Opening! 🌿

We had an amazing time kicking off the season at the Coraopolis Community Garden! Thank you to everyone who came out to plant, celebrate, and enjoy the space together.

A special thank‑you to Amy Cavicchia and her family for providing food and hosting the annual diaper drive in support of local families — your generosity continues to make a meaningful impact.

We’re also grateful to the Girl Scouts, who brought so much energy and helped plant throughout the garden. Your hard work is appreciated.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was the dedication of the Pavilion in honor of Robert & Elsie Sylvester. Their son John shared heartfelt words about his parents and officially dedicated the pavilion in their memory. It was a beautiful tribute.

Here’s to a great growing season ahead, Coraopolis!

The Coraopolis Community Development Corporation is looking for produce vendors to join the Coraopolis Community Farmers Market this summer!

📍 Riverfront Park – Coraopolis
🗓 Last Thursday of the Month
⏰ 4–8 PM | June – September

This is a great opportunity for local farmers, gardeners, and growers to connect with the community and sell fresh, locally grown produce in a beautiful riverfront setting.
