Coplay Sports is a non-profit organization dedicated to the youth of the Borough of Coplay and its surrounding areas. Local members of our community formed the organization in 1955 to provide a variety of sports programs for the children of Coplay. We offer Baseball, Softball, Basketball and Cheerleading programs. Baseball and basketball are opened to boys; Softball and cheerleading are opened to
girls. The goal of Coplay Sports is to provide the youth of our community with a safe environment to participate in recreational sports. The Board of Directors of Coplay Sports along with its coaches strive to teach sportsmanship, understanding of the sport and foster the development of skills and knowledge necessary to play the sport. Coplay Sports is not affiliated with the Borough of Coplay, Whitehall-Coplay School District, or Whitehall Township Recreation. All of our funding comes from other sources, mostly donations and the nominal fees we collect for your child’s participation in a sport. The ball fields that we use belong to the Borough of Coplay and are graciously offered to Coplay Sports for our use. Our organization has access to other facilities, such as the Borough Hall gymnasium and Saylor Field; however, there is a cost to use the schools of the Whitehall-Coplay School District. We use our facebook web pages to help keep our members informed of all events happening within our organization.
