The flag pole is officially up and stable I was able to have it done just in time for flag day so in honor of this day here are some words about flag day and the respect scouts are expected to give.
Today, on Flag Day, we gather to honor and reflect upon the significance of our nation's flag. The American flag is a powerful symbol that represents the values and principles we hold dear.
As scouts, we learn to respect and care for our flag, understanding the sacrifices made by those who have defended it throughout history. The flag serves as a reminder of the unity and strength of our country, and the ideals of liberty, justice, and equality it stands for.
Flag Day provides us with an opportunity to remember the importance of our flag and the role it plays in our lives. It reminds us of the countless men and women who have served under its colors, protecting our freedoms and way of life.
On this day, let us reaffirm our commitment to upholding the principles that our flag represents. Let us strive to be responsible citizens, demonstrating respect for our country, its laws, and its diverse population.
As scouts, we have a duty to honor and care for our flag. Remember to handle it with reverence, to properly fold it when not in use, and to ensure it is always displayed proudly and in good condition. By doing so, we show our appreciation for the symbol that unites us as Americans.
So, as we celebrate Flag Day, let us renew our commitment to our nation, our flag, and the ideals they represent. Let us carry the lessons we learn as scouts into our daily lives, embodying the principles of honor, integrity, and service.
May the flag always inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves and to work towards a better future for our country and the world. Thank you, and let us continue to live up to the spirit of our flag in all that we do.
