Explorer Post 101

Explorer Post 101 We are model railroading organization that is part of the BSA open to members ages 14-21 and adults can join as advisors.

We are located on the second floor of the Coplay Borough Municipal Building. We are a model railroading group that is a part of Boy Scouts of America, Minsi Trail Council. We are open to any one who wants to join, male or female, ages 14-21 as well as adults who wish to join as advisors. We primarily model HO Scale, but we do have a N Scale layout that is partially constructed and we would love to

see it used. Any member who joins can build a 4' x 2' module that becomes a part of our mobile HO Scale layout in which they can model what they would like with the only requirements being where the 3 mainline tracks are placed.

Tonight starts the first night of our final open house weekend. We will be open from 7-9pm tonight and from 12-4 both Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there.

The snow removal equipment was busy all night, but the job was completed getting the tracks cleared.

We are open and running today for our Annual Open House. We will be here from 12-4 today and tomorrow. If you don’t feel safe driving out today we still have one more weekend left after this one. Hope you can make it.

Hello everyone, because of the weather conditions we are currently experiencing we are canceling the open house for tonight. Hopefully things clear up in time for us to hold the rest of this weekends show. We will keep everyone informed based on what the weather is doing and how the roads look.

Tonight is the opening night of our Annual Open House. The show starts at 7pm in our usual meeting place of the second floor of the Coplay Borough Hall building. If you can’t make it tonight we are also running on both Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 this weekend as well as the next two weekends. Hope to see you here.

A big thank you to everyone who come out to the Lehigh Valley Flower and Garden Show this weekend. We had a successful weekend of running trains. Hopefully y’all had as much fun as we did. We’ll keep you updated as to when our next show is, but as for now we will be back to our normal schedule of meeting Thursdays from 7-9. We always welcome visitors, but please keep in mind we may not always have some running.

The trains are up and running at the Lehigh Valley Flower and Garden Show. The show runs until 7pm today and from 10-7 tomorrow and 10-6 on Sunday. Come on out and see us as well as all the vendors and displays. Hope to see you here.

We would like to clear up any confusion that may have occurred. Someone has been commenting on our Open House Posts about that they are still accepting vendors and to message them. We have deleted the comment as soon as we saw it and would like to clarify that there are no vendors at our event, there are only the displays that we have set up. This person is not affiliated with us. We apologize for any confusion as to what is actually at our Open House. That is being said, we have three more days left of the event. Tomorrow, Thursday (1/2) from 7-9, and Saturday (1/4) and Sunday (1/5) from 12-4. We hope to see you there.
