Volunteers are needed for our first ever Michigan Prescribed Fire Festival in partnership with Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, MI on Sunday, October 25!

The goal of this event is to educate the general public including landowners, families, and students, about the benefits of prescribed fire through activities like guided hikes, a fire truck, and talking with local conservation organizations and fire practitioners.

We expect over 600 guests and families to come engage in activities and learn about the benefits of prescribed fire. We are looking for ~34 volunteers to help assist with various MPFC hosted activities. Fire expertise is only needed for some positions, so take a look and sign up for a shift or two or share with your organization's volunteers!
